Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Harewood Acres was a venue that we’d not heard of prior to this delivery from Faenza 43 and a little digging reveals that this former military airfield near the Ontario suburb of Jarvis was, in the late 1950s, Canada’s premier track. The original track layout from 1956 certainly looks interesting, though the degradation of the runways led to this being shortened. All we know about the car is that it was driven by a D Leopold and what it looks like, which happily is very much like the model offered here. As was quite common at the time, the front of the bodywork was painted with whitewash to protect from stone chips and that has been neatly replicated on the model, contrasting nicely with the smart main red paint finish.
About Faenza 43
Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
