Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 335S Virginia 1960 #21 Sometimes called the Super TestaRossa, this car, chassis 0764, was the last of the four-can, four-litre Ferraris built in the late 1950s. It was delivered to Chinetti and then sold to Alan Connell who raced it with some success from late 1959 through early 1960. The races that we see depicted here are the first and last from that period, Connell teaming up with Skip Hudson to finish second at Road America and destroying the engine nine months later. The body style is very similar to a 250TR (hence the nickname) but on the left hand side of the car there is an unusual vent panel covering much of the wheelarch undercut. Faenza has got the shape of the car well and the decoration for both races is neatly replicated but on both of our models the area under that left side wheelarch is unusually rough.
