Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 225S Targa Florio 1953 #52 Eugenio Castellotti was the driver of this Touring barchetta on the Targa Florio and although the overall shape looks fairly conventional, there are a few unusual small details. At the front there were triangular vents (presumably for brake cooling?) beneath the headlights and a strange metal half tonneau cover was fitted which stopped short of the rear of the cockpit. The vents are neatly carved into the body on this model and that cover has been fitted as a vac-formed piece before painting. The tonneau is ever so slightly too long and the tiny front number plate fitted to the grille on the real thing is omitted, but otherwise the shape and decoration on the model look good and the paint finish is excellent.

Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
