Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 375MM SCCA Beverly 1955 #5 Jim Kimberley’s unique Ferrari 375MM was entered for the Sebring race but a road accident with the truck on the way there saw the car damaged. When it was repaired the bodywork followed standard Pininfarina style, losing the cutaway rear wings, and the car made its first race start of 1955 at Beverley, MA on July 4th, Kimberley winning his class and finishing second overall. The matt silver finish used on the model is a fairly convincing interpretation of rough aluminium and the surface is deliberately uneven in places. The race numbers, in Kimberley’s favoured bright red, add a splash of colour.
