Ferrari 750S Supercort54 #10 Trintignant by Faenza 43
Ferrari 750S Supercortemaggiore 1954 #10 Gonzalez/Trintignant
Alternative version FAE252A 1st Imola & FAE252B Portugal
These two models are of the same car (chassis 0428MD) as it won in Portugal and finished second in the Supercortemaggiore race at Monza. The basic shape looks pretty accurate and the decal placement matches race photos of the Portuguese machine (we’ve not found photos from Monza). The driver’s seat looks rather narrow, especially when we consider the size of Gonzalez, but otherwise the detailing is all well done

About Faenza 43
Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. The various Ferrari and Maserati machines which ended up in SCCA races of the late 50s and early 60s are a particular speciality, but also plenty of machines raced in Europe too. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat )or should that be more realistic!?) but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
