Ferrari 246S Sebring 12hrs 1962 #35Rodriguez/Connell/Grossman by Faenza 43
Ferrari 246 S Sebring 1962 #35 NART
Alternative version FAE279A Daytona & FAE279B Virginia
These three models are all of the same chassis, 0784, raced by NART in 1962. John Fulp and Skip Hudson drove at Daytona, with Fulp again behind the wheel in the Virginia SCCA event, while at Sebring it was Bob Grossman, Alan Cornell and Pedro Rodriguez who shared the driving. The basic shape of the car looks pretty good, although the vents behind the front wheels are a little exaggerated. On our Daytona sample, one of the wheels is a slightly jaunty angle but otherwise the finish of the models is good with decent paint finishes, carefully placed decals and on the Sebring car, addition spot-lamps on top of the nose.

About Faenza 43
Charming hand-built resin models of interesting and often obscure subjects. The various Ferrari and Maserati machines which ended up in SCCA races of the late 50s and early 60s are a particular speciality, but also plenty of machines raced in Europe too. Paint finishes sometimes a little flat )or should that be more realistic!?) but otherwise very good. Made in Italy.
