Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Although the basic underpinnings
of these four cars are basically the
same there are a number of bodywork
differences between the factory entered
cars from Sebring and Daytona. For the
Sebring race we see headlights and
deep air intakes on the side pods which
were needed as overheating was an
issue for the cars and both dropped out
before half distance along with another
of their team mates. For Daytona the
cars were much cleaner in design. In
1972 the race was only a six hour affair
so no headlights were needed and the
sides also had far fewer openings. The
race was more of a success too, with
the #7 car leading twice before dropping back and the #5 finished third overall.
All four models have nice clean paint finishes and carefully placed decals and
the small bodywork variations are well observed. The models are very simple
though with decal seat belts and generally basic interiors.
Very well finished hand-built resin models with superb paintwork. Interior detailing is somewhat limited. Absolute bargains! Made in Italy.
