Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Penske PC4 Canada 1977 Ongais Hand built available FOR050MC The description on the instructions for Formula Models’ kit says that it will build either the US or Canadian GPs, The car was virtually identical at both meetings except that for the six laps it lasted before Danny Ongais crashed at Watkins Glen he was on wets! Canada’s the sensible option anyway, as he finished the race in a very creditable seventh. The main resin body is cast in two pieces and a tiny amount of clean-up will be needed to set them snuggly together. Many of the intakes are cleverly designed in etch and there’s a semi-exposed engine in the rear which kit builders may wish to add some wiring to. The hand built model is beautifully finished with a flawless black paint finish and carefully applied decals.
