Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine BMW Z4 GT3 SGT300 2014 Studie Accessory set available STUFP24167 etched parts In terms of body parts the basic components in these two kits are the same and share much with earlier versions of the car, additional sprues allowing for changes in rear wing main element and a few other minor details. There’s a fair amount of cabin detail and plenty of scope to get creative with carbon decal both inside and out. The wheels are different and so too, of course, are the decals. The press launch car kit has two options shown on the instructions, a very simple pinstriped design for the 2014 launch which doesn’t actually match the box art or press photos, or a 2013 race version with traditional broad diagonal BMW Motorsport stripes. BMW Team Studie was a semi-works entry in Super GT and saw BMW stalwart Jorg Muller join Seiji Ara to finish third in the GT300 championship. Sponsorship here again features the BMW stripes and, rather unusual for a race team, the world famous Steiff teddy bear company!
Mass produced plastic kits that build well. Instructions usually in several languages. Some subjects require slightly more advanced modelling techniques but these are well explained in the instructions. Made in Japan.
