Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lotus Europa Special The Europa Special was initially launched in black and gold colour scheme as a limited run of 100 cars to celebrate Lotusís F1 World Championship in 1972, but so popular was the decoration that it remained an option until the end of Europa production. The car modelled is left hand drive (as the early cars were) and the general shape looks pretty good. Itís a kerbside kit but there is a fair level of chassis and suspension detail. Those famous gold stripes are finely printed on the decal sheet and have minimal carrier film.
Mass produced plastic kits that build well. Instructions usually in several languages. Some subjects require slightly more advanced modelling techniques but these are well explained in the instructions. Made in Japan.
