Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Suzuki RGV (XR74) 1988 Pepsi Kevin Schwantz had had a couple of wild card Grand Prix starts during the mid-1980s but it was 1988 before he would get a full time ride with the Pepsi Suzuki team. That new contract started perfectly with a win first time out at Suzuka and he won again in Germany, but with several DNFs finished the year eighth in the standings. Itís a fabulous looking machine and Fujimiís kit has plenty of engine and chassis detail. Some etched detail is included for brake discs and radiator grilles and the decals are very clearly printed. The instructions are largely in Japanese but the colour guide includes a translation and the drawings are clear enough.
Mass produced plastic kits that build well. Instructions usually in several languages. Some subjects require slightly more advanced modelling techniques but these are well explained in the instructions. Made in Japan.
