Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine In response to Mercedesí records set in October 1934, Auto Union headed for the same concrete motorway near Budapest in February 1935 but found snow on the ground and then headed south to Lucca in Italy. The target was 200mph, which Stuck achieved in one direction but was unable to repeat on the return run, having to settle for a new class C record at 199.01 mph. In order to reach this speed, the car was modified slightly from the original design and the fully enclosed rear wheels had to be partially exposed in the interest of stability. The model captures the details of the car very well and the level of finish is good for the most part, with just the odd small blemish in the complex areas mostly obscured by the front wheels.
