Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine We start with several similar Stanguelinis which differ slightly in the nose treatment. The kits feature reasonably well cast bodies, excellent BBR style wire wheels and a fair level of etched fine detail. Some of the bodies are very thin above the front wheels, so care will be needed here and the panel engraving is a little shallow and wobbly in places. Overall the shapes are good and though at first we thought they looked a little on the large side, a dimension check shows that they’re pretty close to where they should be. The panel engraving on the built 1958 car is very rough under the paint but the others are generally good, the 1959 cars being the pick of the bunch. The colour of the 1100cc machine is a slightly odd pinkish shade, but the others are the more usual bright red that we would expect to see.
