Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine When we consider Swiss cars at Le Mans we generally think of Peter Sauberís eponymous machines but Chuck Graemingerís Cheetahs appeared for several years in the Groups 6 class, powered by BMW engines. Unfortunately the two cars from the 1979 race modelled here both retired quite early with mechanical issues and the Walter Wolf entered car the following year failed to qualify. The main resin body in the kit isnít quite as crisp as in most of the other kits here and will need a little work during paint preparation, though the shape of the car looks good. Some of the detailing, such as the rollover bars and mirrors is also a little chunky, something that could be adjusted using pins or wire during the build. The hand built models are generally well finished though there are one or two smaller decals either missing or not quite correct. Overall, fair representations of rare subjects.
1:43 resin & metal kits & hand built models. Very interesting (often obscure) Le Mans subjects. Quality can be a little variable. Made in Switzerland
