Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The sole Riley in the 1939 Le Mans race was entered by Frenchman Just Emile Vernet, finishing third in the 1½-litre class assisted by Carl de Bodard. GCAM have caught the overall shape of the car fairly well, though the doors are a little shallow and could do with re-scribing closer to the base of the body and the body itself fits the chassis rather too well, there should be an overhang beneath the door. The very delicate wheel arches have very realistic stays on them and fit neatly onto the bodywork and along with the other fine details have been carefully assembled. The paint finish on our sample is excellent and overall it makes for an attractive model.
