Lola T222 Interserie/Can-Am 1971/1972 by Group 7
Lola T222 Interserie/Can-Am 1971/72
Five options are offered in this well cast kit, made for Group 7 by Marsh Models, three from Can-Am races, one Interserie and one from a European hillclimb. The two European race versions are the same car with a different driver and are in a mid-blue and the two race options for Bob Nagel in the Can-Am the following year are a similar shade (it could even be the same car). The odd one out is Charlie Kemp’s orange machine which raced with modest success in America. Care will be needed to use the correct etched parts once you’ve chosen your race and for some options it is necessary to fill recesses that are there to receive etched stabilising fins on the front. A decal printing error means that the small Holiday Inn lettering for the Kemp car is on a separate additional sheet, but it’s all there.
