Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Yamaha YZR500 1988 Roberts/Magee The most distinctive feature of Yamaha’s new 1988 race bike was the asymmetric frame to accommodate a very complex exhaust system on the 70 degree V4 engine. That is of course replicated in detail in these kits and there is plenty to get stuck-in to in terms of engine and chassis detail. The Team Roberts bikes from the 1988 season are depicted in politically correct livery and there are two options in the kit with both Wayne Rainey and promising Australian rider Kevin Magee.
Well detailed, easy to build plastic kits with clear instructions. Many kits include small photo-etched parts for details such as seat belts windscreen wipers and grilles. Transkits and additional detailing parts available for some subjects, see our accessories.Made in Japan.
