Hiro - Joe Honda Sportscar Spectacles Photo Book Vol11, Can-Am 1970 (Part 2)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Joe Honda Sportscar Vol11 Can-Am (part 2) Weight 700g Alternative version HIRSS10 Part 1 There are five rounds of the Can-Am season covered in Joe Hondaís second review of the 1971 season and at a couple of these there were some interesting home-built machines which are given particularly close attention. Stan Burnettís eponymous machine is one of these and is fairly conventional, which is more than be said for the Macís It Special, with its four snowmobile engines driving a wheel each. Of course there are McLarens, Lola, Chaparrals, BRMs and Porsche too. Honda-san also took an interest in many of the spectators, adding even more colour.
State of the art large scale kits using resin, white metal, photo-etch and CNC machined aluminium. Many kits are built onto a solid aluminium monocoque. For the more experienced builder. End result stunning. Also a selected range of excellent accessory parts for use with resin and plastic kits. New from 2012, also a range of 1:43 kits made with the same level of detail and precision as the larger offerings. Also an excellent range of photo reference magazines for a wide range of subjects. Made in Japan.
