Books - Formula 1 in Camera 1970-1979 (vol 2) (Author: Parker)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The first book in the ‘In Camera’ series covered F1 in the 1970s and the images came from the lens Rainer Schlegelmilch. That was nine years ago and this new volume is intended to compliment the original. There are no results or season reviews as they were touched upon in the first book, this is all about photographs with the text consisting of detailed captions to each carefully selected image. Some of the photos we have seen before, but there are a huge number that we haven’t including shots of car and driver combinations that we’d only heard about but never actually seen. Many of these are from practice or non-championship races and add fantastic extra colour and interest to the history of F1. Superb.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
