Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine This pretty thorough history of the most successful cars of the Group C era takes us from the instigation of the project in 1981 to the last races over a decade later. Over seven hundred photos, mostly in colour, show us how the cars evolved for the different circuits and championships that they were entered in and each image is supported by an informative caption which supplements the excellent continuous narrative. A comprehensive results section charts all 956/962 activity in major events, be they the classics such as Le Mans and Daytona or national series in Germany and Japan. Smale’s similar work on the 917 is one of very regularly used reference sources and this looks like going the same way and joining the earlier book in our library.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
