Books - Colin Chapman, The Comic-Strip Biography (Authors: Bernard)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Colin Chapman, The Comic-Strip Biography Weight 1.1kg by Denis Bernard One of the problems with biographies is often dry text and a lack of images. Not here! This beautifully drawn and extremely colourful comic strip book tells the story of Colin Chapman from his Grand Prix drive for Vanwall in 1956 through to his death from a heart attack in 1982. Itís a fast paced telling of the story as we rattle through the years, the story jumping from track to track and also concentrating behind the scenes. Not entirely serious by any means, but itís not supposed to be. Great fun for the motorsports enthusiast and Lotus collectors in particular.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
