Books - The Road Ferraris, The Complete Story (Authors: Pritchard)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine The Road Ferraris, The Complete Story With just over 400 pages, this was always going to be a relatively brief history of Ferrari road cars, simply because there are over sixty years of activity and more than eighty distinct models to cover. It’s not a bad effort though and takes us from the pre-Ferrari days of the Auto Avio 815 through to the F150 ‘SuperEnzo’ unveiled earlier this year. The coverage of the earlier years is a little lighter than that of the newer cars but the text is well written and informative. A nice touch is the use of reprints of period road test articles throughout which help place the cars in context of the day. We have noticed a couple of omissions (it’s always risky claiming that anything is a complete history) but overall, not bad at all.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
