Books - Moto GP Technology (2nd edition) (Author: Spalding)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine weight 1.4kg by Neil Spalding
Neil Spalding's voice and technical insight will be familiar to those who watch the Moto GP races on Eurosport and has unrivalled access to the engineers and the machinery at races. This is an update of a book first published in 2006 and covers Moto GP machinery from the introduction of the four-stroke bikes in 2002 through to the current 800cc machines. The text is extremely well written and explains how the machines work very well indeed. There are excellent drawings to demonstrate more detailed points, such as Ducati's desmodronic valve system but it is the wealth of high quality, close up photographs that will be of most interest to modellers. A must for the Moto GP enthusiast and motorcycle modeller.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
