Books - Ferrari 312P and 312PB, WSC Giants (Author: Collins)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine weight 600g by Ed McDonough & Peter Collins
The late 1960s and early 1970s are considered by many to have been the golden age of sports car racing and Ferrari were an integral part of the competition. With the adoption of the three litre engine capacity limit their 312PB became the car to beat. This soft bound publication concentrates on the racing career of these cars for the most part but we also see the development of its predecessor, the 312P. Over 120 photographs are used to illustrate the well written text. To add weight to the race report and general history, there are introductions to many of the key figures involved and memoirs of the cars from a number of these individuals. No racing history would be complete without detailed results and chassis histories and this doesn't disappoint. We've already been enjoying a series of 'Rally Greats' histories from this publisher and there will be more similar 'WSC Greats' to come which will help build a very good value library section.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
