Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Maserati A6G 2000 Zagato weight 3 kg by Walter Baumer Only twenty one Maserati A6G chassis were clothed with Zagato’s beautiful coupe coachwork and here we have the stories of each one in turn. To set the scene the author gives us some background to Maserati, Zagato and Italy in the 1950s. We see the development of the design and then on to the individual chassis histories. Many of the cars were raced and the competition results are included along with a great many period photographs and reproduced original documents. The book is laid out in a large format and presented in a slip-case to make for a very impressive tome.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
