Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine weight 2.1kg
Autocourse is the only F1 annual to have been in constant publication since the start of the Formula 1 World Championship and this year we see the 59th edition. The very comprehensive race reports make up the bulk of the content and in them we find a well written text that is often rather more expressive and controversial than that found in the official annual, editor Alan Henry certainly doesn't pull punches on the background politics. Before the race reports, the book starts with a top ten driver rating and articles from the pitlane including a look at the changing fortunes of Ferrari and interviews with one of the most influential designers in the F1 paddock, Adrian Newey and championship winning team principal, Ross Brawn. Autocourse isn't just about F1, there is also coverage of the main feeder single seater series such as GP2 & F3, we have a roundup of the major series across the Atlantic, the world sportscar racing scene and also the top touring car series. All in all, a very comprehensive roundup of global motorsport in 2009.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
