Books - Formula One At Watkins Glen (Author: Argetsinger)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine After false starts at Sebring and Riverside the US Grand Prix eventually found a home at Watkins Glen and the upstate New York venue hosted the race for twenty years until 1980. Prior to the first Grand Prix the circuit ran a number of Formula Libre races which attracted top flight entries and we start with these before moving on to the championship events. Each race story is told with a great selection of excellent photographs and most of these are in colour. The atmosphere of the paddock as well as the race track is captured and overall it gives a fine view of F1 in North America through the Sixties and Seventies.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
