Books - Lancia and De Virgilio, At The Centre (Author: Goldberg)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Lancia and De Virgilio, At The Centre Weight 3kg by Geoffrey Goldberg One of the unsung heroes of Lancia’s golden era during the 1950s and ‘60s, Francesco De Virgilio joined the company as an engineer in 1939 and his career with the firm lasted until the 1970s. His most famous design was the V6 engine used in the Aurelia series of cars but it was only one of many. With access to the De Virgilio family archives which include a great many of his original drawings, this is a fascinating technical and social history of Lancia from the inside during a very important period in the company’s history.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
