Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Alpine au Mans 1962-1995 Weight 1kg by Francois Hurel First published as a soft bound edition in 2002, this handy hard cover volume shows us every car bearing the Alpine name to have been entered for the Le Mans 24 Hours, not just the starters but also those that appeared at pre-qualifying. There’s a fair amount of colour in the 1970s section and a few colour images from the late 1960s, but the bulk of the photos are in black and white. Alongside each car we are told qualifying position, race result and drivers and also if known the chassis number. To finish off there are overviews of the technical details of each car type and a quick view summary of the race results. FRENCH TEXT.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
