Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine La Maserati du Colonel Weight 1.2kg by Michel Bollée Born to an American diplomat father and French mother, John Horace Simone served with the US air force in WW2 and like many former airmen, took up motor racing soon after hostilities ceased. Having raced a variety of machines through the Fifties, in the early Sixties he built a relationship with Maserati and was responsible for the entry and running of several specials such as the mighty Tipo 151 and Tipo 64. These cars are examined in detail here with plenty of photos, technical specification and reproduced period documents. FRENCH TEXT.
