Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine weight 1.7kg by Maurizio Tabucchi
Alfa Romeo's GTA saloon car racers were hugely competitive in the late 1960s and early 1970s and here we have a detailed history of their competition careers. We start with a look at the cars' predecessors and competitors (most notably the Lotus Cortina) and then there is a brief development history. The author then takes us into the race action and the story is told more or less chronologically, though there are specific chapters for certain variants of the car, so things jump about a little. Throughout there are a huge number of carefully selected photographs, many of which are in colour, and we finish with tables of chassis numbers for the various types and a huge section covering all of the competition successes in a wide variety of events. ITALIAN TEXT.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
