Books - La Ferrari Secondo Forghieri (Author: Forghieri)
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine This is the story of a man inextricably linked with the Ferrari story, Mauro Forghieri. Born in Modena, his father worked in various machine shops in the town before joining the Ferrari company after the war. Having finished a degree in mechanical engineering the young Mauro joined the company, with a helpful word from Dad, in 1960 and quickly rose through the company showing great flair for design. Many of Ferrari’s more successful competition cars were Forghieri projects, from Surtees’ championship winning 158, the 312T series, 250LM and the great P3 & P4. His life and career are celebrated here with previously unpublished stories and photographs drawing heavily on the publisher’s own archive and the memories of the protagonists. ITALIAN TEXT.
