Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Porsche SportErfolge weight 3.5kg by Tony Adriaensens New books by Tony Adriaensens are never cheap but they are usually things of great beauty and this is no exception. The subject matter is the early Porsche sports racing cars from the Gmund machines of 1951 through to the RS prototypes of the early 1960s. In the authors forward he says that the original plan was for a small soft bound book, but such is the richness of the subject matter that itís grown into this 640 page, slip-cased behemoth. Many of the photographs are in colour and the vast majority are previously unpublished. This has clearly been a huge research job and reports from period publications and race reports are used wherever possible to describe the images that we are enjoying. One for the serious Porsche and sports racing enthusiast.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
