Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Tasman Cup 1964-1975 Weight 3.2kg by Tony Loxley For the European teams and drivers the Tasman Cup started as a bit of a winter holiday, travelling to Australia and New Zealand to enjoy another summer, but it soon developed into a series of hard fought races where up and coming local talents could pit their skills against many of the world’s top drivers. From Formula 1 and into F5000, all twelve years of competition are covered here. A huge number of rare photographs have been unearthed and from these we see a wide variety of machinery and drivers involved and with many of the images in colour there’s potential for plenty of interesting models. Many of those involved share their memories and experiences and we round off with a concise results section. All in all a fascinating insight into a series that, beyond the participation of a few of the bigger teams such as Lotus and Ferrari, there has been little information about.
Over the years we have created a library here at GPM and many collectors regularly ask us which books we use most and which are the most reliable source of information. We offer quality titles selected for their reference material content.
