Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine DB Panhard HBR5 Le Mans 1961 #52 This car was crashed heavily on the first lap of practice and badly damaged, the chassis plate and registration number being then applied to another very similar car for the race! Although the basic livery and body shape were the same between the original and the ‘ringer’, only the original had chrome side trims, leather bonnet straps and signwriting for Equipe DB Panhard and a French flag on the side. It is from that fateful first practice lap that the car is modelled and from this standpoint it looks pretty accurate, though is obviously incorrect for the actual race.
Well finished die-casts of varying levels of accuracy. Some very good, others (mostly Ferraris) not. Made in China
