Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Buick Series 40 Special 1936 Bordeaux/Cream The 1936 model saw a new beginning for Buick as their Series 40 cars made a bold step forward in styling and this was matched beneath the skin with independent front suspension, hydraulic brakes all round and a straight-eight engine offering 93 hp. The Special was actually the entry level model and here we see it in sedan form (there was also a coupe), neatly finished in a two-tone burgundy and cream. The lighter colour is very thin, with mould lines showing through in placed, but overall the shape looks pretty good.
Well finished die-casts of varying levels of accuracy. Some very good, others (mostly Ferraris) not. Made in China
