Ferrari 335S 2nd Venezuela 1957 #12 by Jade Miniatures
Kit available JAD43105
To cope with the heat in the Caracas Grand Prix the two Ferrari 335s had their noses modified in similar ‘pontoon fendered’ style to the 250TRs that would back them up. It worked as the factory Ferraris came home in the first four places and, most importantly in Modena, beat Maserati to the Championship for Makes. Jade have replicated the shapes of these unique cars well and the finish is to a decent standard. The tonneau cover is moulded into the body but this has been given a subtly contrasting satin finish and it all works well.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
