Osca Fiat Tipo J Junior 1960/1961 by Jade Miniatures
Also available JADR4302M - built
Simply known as the Tipo J, this pretty Formula Junior design was produced by OSCA between 1959 and 1961. Jade have clearly been inspired by cars seen at modern historic racing events such as Goodwood and we see a number of restored cars in the instruction images, though there are also period race shots. The main version offered on the decal is of a car raced at Vallelunga in 1961, though simple decorations mean that with a bit of spare decal raiding there are many others that could be made. The main resin kit parts are very cleanly cast and the rest of the kit is the usual fairly simple etch for suspension, vac-formed windscreen and well printed decals.

About Jade Miniatures
A well established range of well thought out kits and hand built models of competition cars, mostly from the golden era of the 1950s and 60s. The kits are generally pretty simple with well cast resin bodies, small numbers of resin and white metal ancillaries and a modest amount of etch. In the case of open wheeled subjects, the etch usually includes most or all of the suspension. Hand builts generally well finished. Made in France.
