Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine For the final three races before they shut the doors for good, Hector Rebaque’s team forsook the Lotus that they had been using in preference to their own car, built by Penske and drawing heavily on the Lotus 79 and Williams FW07 for design influence. On the first outing at Monza Rebaque was the slowest driver in the practice sessions that he took part in and failed to qualify by some margin. That heroic failure is fairly well represented here. The main body shape is pretty good and the finish is much better than the first Lotus that we saw in this range. Some of the smaller details such as the rear wing endplates aren’t quite right and the decals are mis-sized in places, but where else are you going to get a hand built Rebaque?
Very limited production hand built models, modified from existing kits such as Tameo to create some previously unmodelled subjects. Made in Czech Republic.
