Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine ATS D3 Argentina 1980 Surer Alternative version JAR176B6 1979 The D3 version of the ATS was used from Germany onwards in 1979 and Stuck scored his first finish with the new car in Italy, albeit outside the points. The team started the following year with a revised version of the car and two new drivers. Lammers failed to qualify and Argentina and Surer had moved up the field from a lowly starting position before a brake fire ended his race. The detail differences between the two versions of the car are well done and the decals are complete as far as we can see, but once again we have thin paint. The paint finish on this range of models is not to the highest, glossy standards but we are now promised this will be improved upon for the future.
Very limited production hand built models, modified from existing kits such as Tameo to create some previously unmodelled subjects. Made in Czech Republic.
