Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Boro-Ensign N175 Monaco 1976 Perkins Alternative version JARK018B 1975 & JARK018B2 1977 Jarmarkís usual base kits are from Tameo but these three releases of the Ensign N175 use Modellismo 90ís parts as a starting point. Van Lennep managed to bring the car home sixth in a high attrition race at the Nurburgring, despite issues of his own. By 1976 the Hoogenboom brothers, who owned the title sponsor, had taken over the Ensign teamís assets and the cars appeared as Boro-Ensigns. Larry Perkins failed to qualify the car at Monaco in 1976, the airbox now removed and adjustments made to the side pods, but the livery little changed. For the 1977 Dutch GP the car was finished in black with the sponsorship in green and white and Brian Henton was disqualified from this race for receiving a push start after a spin. The specific body details of all three versions have been carefully modelled and the decoration looks to be correct apart from a missing (looks like Esso) logo from the side of the engine cowling on the Henton car. The paint finishes are a little dull (or authentic if you prefer!) and the suspension parts and engine detail from the base model are all very well assembled.
