Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine This 500 Mondial was the second of just two to be clothed with Pininfarina Berlinetta bodywork in 1954 and it enjoyed an active competition career before passing into the collectors market. The car was sold for a seven figure sum at Monterey in 2010 and it appeared at the auction restored in pale French blue wearing the #505 from the last of its three Milla Miglia outings, much as we see it here. However, there are questions over the colour on the Mille Miglia and race photos look far darker than the bright blue, probably red. The car was certainly red when it was sold to the USA once its competition career was over.
