Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine As our inserts in FSW 4 & 5/2010 showed, K&R have a rich selection of patterns to work from and are concentrating at the moment on creating some interesting competition versions of many of their previously released road cars. This kit offers the choice of either of the factory entered MGAs which took part in the 1956 Mille Miglia, finishing fourth and fifth in class and scooping the ladies prize. The kit parts are for the most part very cleanly cast in white metal and there is a small amount of photo-etch provided for the front grille, a couple of trims and the spokes of the wire wheels.
About K & R Replicas
Well cast, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
