K & R Replicas - Ferrari 375 Thinwall Special 1:43 model
Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Tony Vandervell’s “Thinwall Special” Ferrari was driven by a number of drivers during the 1951 season, some for rather less time than they expected. Brian Shawe-Taylor was to drive at Reims but he was sent home after complaining about the brakes and Reg Parnell drafted in at the last minute, finishing a fine fourth overall. At the British Grand Prix it was Peter Whitehead who got the drive. The kit parts are generally well cast and near identical between the two models, with just decalling differences. Wheels are in kit form as usual for wires in K&R kits these days.
About K & R Replicas
Well cast, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
