Tommy Wisdom finished fifth in class on the Sestriere Rally in his works Austin Healey Sprite and the simple decoration of the car is accurately reproduced here. We’ve seen K&R’s Frogeye many times in the past and the main castings are typically clean and well-proportioned for the main. The headlights are separate inserts and a tiny amount of filler will be needed to blend these in, otherwise it’s all straightforward. Etch is included for the front radiator grille but this is not the correct pattern so you may wish to change if you have some suitable material (STUFP012).

Well cast and easy to build, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
