Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Fiat 850 Siata Spring Spider 1967 Yellow roof down Alternative version KES43010021 White roof up We usually associate Siata with very limited production machines used for racing in the 1950s and early 60s, but in terms of numbers produced the Spring was their most prolific issue. Itís a quirky machine, released late in 1967 and based on a Fiat 850 floorpan with the styling a pastiche of cars from the late 30s and early 40s. Like so many open cars, we think it looks better with the roof down, but if you disagree there is the choice here, Kess having made the car open in yellow or closed in white. The wheels leave a little to be desired but the overall finish and shape of the car are good and there is plenty of fine etched trim including a neat little luggage rack on the rear deck.
Very well finished resincast models, similar in style to Neo. Made in China for Italy.
