Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Jim Steck and Mike Besic have been running this two-litre turbocharged Alfa Romeo spider at Bonneville for a number of years and in that time have set many class records. In 2002 they joined the 200mph club with her and the current target is apparently 240mph! The car is modelled here as it appeared in 2005 which wasn’t the most successful trip, weather affecting the conditions and on one occasion Besic span the car at high speed. Klaxons model is very nicely made and captures the smooth streamlined shape of the car very well indeed. There is plenty of fine etched detail, the paint finish is flawless and overall it just looks ‘right’. An interesting addition to any speed record or Alfa Romeo themed collection.
Well detailed, usually very accurate resin kits. Resin castings often need a fair amount of cleaning up, but nothing serious. Photo-etched parts very finely made. Built models very good with realistic paint finishes and well applied detail. Made in Italy.
