Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Introduced in late 1961, these cars were the ultimate development of the B-Series Farina cars from BMC and offered spacious and comfortable (for the time) transport. This was the age of badge engineering at BMC and so the main bodies and mechanical specification were identical. The visual differences were in trim and the bonnet pressings and the kits are cast with the bonnets separate to simplify this. The dashboards are also quite different and looking through the kit parts, K&R have specified their Morris with a bench front seat but the Austin with the optional individual units. Itís all cleanly cast and they should build decent, if rather old fashioned, models.
About K & R Replicas
Well cast, if rather crude, metal kits. Usually accurate though occasionally a bit odd. Wire wheels of the self - assembly type. Decals, when included, often slightly yellow (typical of many English makers) but will bleach with exposure to u.v. light. Now including a little more photo-etch. Made in England.
