Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona 1977 #64 1977 is pretty late for a competitive international outing for a Ferrari Daytona, but competitive the six year old machine was, finishing fifth overall in the race for which the type was nicknamed. Kyosho have done a decent job with the shape and external detailing but it the insides of these larger scale diecasts that usually hold the most interest and this is no excuse. Beneath the bonnet we find a very well detailed engine with plenty of plumbing and wiring and a complex nest of cold air trunking for both the engine and driverís compartment. In the cabin the seats look realistic and there are fabric belts as well as a fabric window net on the driverís door and finally in the boot thereís a large fuel cell with twin fillers and again plenty of plumbing. It all adds up to make for a very striking model.
Very well finished, generally accurate die-casts. 1:43rd subjects usually kerbside. 1:18th feature opening panels and a fair level of engine detail. Made in Japan.
