Product Review Taken From Four Small Wheels Magazine Two quite different variants of the 250LM here show the development of the car over a few years. The first is, of course, the most famous, the long nosed car which won Le Mans in 1965 in the hands of Gregory and Rindt and the model checks out pretty well with race photos. In 1968 Piper's car was the only Ferrari to finish at Le Mans, coming home in seventh position. This car has short nose bodywork and slightly flared rear wheel arches to accommodate the wider alloy wheels that replaced the original wires. The model again matches race photos pretty well and has carefully placed decals and decent paint.
